Jason grew up in Calvert County, Maryland but he loves living and working on Capitol Hill. Jason is truly passionate about the people, homes, and businesses that make up the community of Capitol Hill. He knows the local real estate market and prides himself on providing his clients with exceptional service.
After graduating, in 2000 from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Jason worked as a sports reporter in Augusta, GA and Wilmington, NC. In 2003, Jason began his career in real estate with Coldwell Banker. With his background in sales, communications, journalism, and business development, Jason quickly became one of the top agents in the DC area, earning the Coldwell Banker (Capitol Hill) Rookie of the Year and the International Presidents Club Award for High Sales Volume and Excellent Client Service/Care.
In 2005, Jason joined with other enthusiastic Capitol Hill agents to form a new brokerage in Washington, DC. Keller Williams Capital Properties brings the next generation of brokerage and agent to DC. Jason continues to be an owner and active partner in KWCP. In 2007, Jason won the Keller Williams Gold Award for Highest Office Sales Volume. Under Jason’s leadership, the Jason Martin Group is ranked as one of America’s Top 1,000 real estate professional teams by the Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends.
While Jason specializes in Capitol Hill, he is experienced with the real estate market throughout DC, VA, and Maryland.

Jason Holt was born in Baltimore, Maryland and spent his early years growing up in Fort Washington, Maryland. His family relocated to the coastal region of New Hampshire where he lived until graduating from high school. Jason moved out west and earned his B.A. in History from Arizona State University and later went on to receive his Post Degree Elementary Education Certification from Northern Arizona University. He served as a classroom teacher in Massachusetts, Florida, locally in Arlington, Virginia, and overseas in Venezuela. While working as a full-time elementary teacher he earned his Master of Education from Cambridge College. Jason returned to Washington DC in 2000 and continues to enjoy living in his Capitol Hill condominium near Eastern Market.
After joining the real estate profession in 2005, Jason quickly became a top producing agent and trusted real estate adviser by applying the same level of dedication and professionalism that shaped his nine years of teaching. He specializes in residential real estate and has extensive market knowledge throughout the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, and surrounding Maryland communities. Jason is committed to working closely with each client, understanding their specific needs, and representing their best interests throughout every phase of a transaction. As both a buyers agent and sellers agent, he has a proven track record working with single family homes, townhomes, condominiums, cooperatives, and new construction properties. He also excels in assisting first-time homebuyers and folks relocating to the greater DC area.
Jason was named the 2008 Agent Of The Year by Keller Williams Capital Properties. He joined the Jason Martin Group in the fall of 2011 and is excited to be working on a small team of like-minded professionals committed to providing the highest caliber of service to their clients.
